Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Type: Full-time
License Requirement: Valid UAE Drivers License

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of heavy machinery and equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and forklifts. A valid UAE drivers license is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing as per manufacturer recommendations.

  • Conduct inspections to identify equipment wear and damage.

  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.

  • Ensure compliance with company and safety regulations at all times.

  • Operate and test equipment to verify proper functioning post-repair.

  • Assist in transporting equipment to and from job sites when required.

  • Keep tools and work area clean, organized, and well-maintained.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about equipment issues and repair timelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) as a heavy equipment technician or mechanic.

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic tools.

  • Valid UAE Drivers License (Heavy Vehicle).

  • Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field preferred.

  • Good physical condition and ability to work in outdoor and site environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, or Hitachi.

  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment.

  • UAE experience preferred.
