Clean Harbors in Decatur, AL is seeking an Heavy Equipment Operator – Rail Support at an on-site customer facility to operate heavy equipment in order to mobilize railcars throughout the site. Training will be provided by facility to operator railcar move

This position is 12hr swing shifts- 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off. 3/3/2/2

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and always acting in a safe mannerCompletes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operatedOperate rail mover from different positions throughout plant site per request/needAssures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating ProceduresCompletes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movementsFollow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirementsSafely observe all corporate operating guidelines and proceduresObserve all company environmental health and safety operating guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedBy position, ability to be on call for rotating weekend work for railcar moves as needed

Qualifications

• Attention to detail
• Follow specific instructions
• Work with minimal supervision at times
• Basic computer skills
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Track Mobile
• Previous experience in Rail Support
• Heavy Equipment Experience
• Previous relevant experience
