Our Transportation and Utilities, Operations East department is looking for a Permanent Full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. Reporting to the Supervisor, Operations East, this position would be expected to primarily operate a lowbed along with other heavy equipment. The position may also be required to perform general labor duties as needed.
This position operates the backhoe, track hoe, crawler tractor and/or packer to construct and maintain roads, load gravel/sand/salt trucks and for construction and maintenance projects. Operators may be generally assigned to one type of equipment but may operate other equipment from time to time and perform related duties.

Shift Details: This position is permanent, full-time with shifts from 7:00am – 4:30pm, 5 days a week, for 44 hours per week. Some extended hours and/or weekends may be required to meet operational needs.
Hourly Rate: $36.48 to $42.92
