Job Description

Okie Staffing is currently hiring for Equipment Operators to support municipal maintenance and infrastructure projects. This position involves operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient city services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks for streets and water maintenance projects
• Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Follow work orders and safety guidelines to complete tasks effectively

Requirements

• Equipment Operators require Valid driver's license; CDL preferred for Equipment Operators
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments and various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check

$17.50–$18.00/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday plus weekends when needed
