We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Victoriaville.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment to receive, move, load, and unload materials. They will contribute to the efficient operation of the site by handling materials safely and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working condition.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Safely and efficiently operate various heavy equipment (mobile crane, loader, etc.);
  • Receive, move, load, and unload materials as required by operations;
  • Feed production equipment, transport materials, and move vehicle bodies and metals to the appropriate work areas;
  • Inspect material quality, perform material identification tests using the appropriate tools, and identify non-conforming materials;
  • Weigh materials, complete required reports, and participate in physical inventory counts;
  • Perform daily inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure proper operation;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all health and safety procedures;
  • Perform any other related duties to support site operations.

Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You have experience operating heavy equipment;
  • You hold a Heavy Equipment Operator competency card (asset);
  • You possess a valid Class 5 driver's licence;
  • You are committed to working safely and following health and safety procedures;
  • You are autonomous, resourceful, and able to prioritize your work effectively;
  • You enjoy working as part of a team;
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
