Heavy Equipment Operative

Location: Blackhall (Walshestown) Naas
Enva is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Operative to join our established operations team in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent job security, regular daytime hours, and the opportunity to operate a wide range of modern plant and machinery within a busy waste recovery and soil treatment facility.

The role is for normal week Mon – Fri 08:00 – 5pm
Key Responsibilities
As part of our operations team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, processing, and movement of materials across the site using a variety of plant equipment, including:
- Excavators
- Wheeled Loaders
- Agricultural Tractors
- Dumper Trucks
- Bulldozers
- Bobcats

Other mobile plant as required
You will also:
- Support the site's wash plant operations.
- Receive, process, and manage incoming soil and waste materials.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance inspections.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across the site.
- Work closely with supervisors and site management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant workplace.
- Conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence
- Complete all paperwork and administration necessary as requested by your supervisor or as the business needs dictate
- Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times, including but not limited to:
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times
- Highlight any safety concerns to your Manager immediately and to report any accidents/ incidents to your Manager immediately
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a 360 excavator ticket at a minimum A bulldozer ticket is desirable.
- Be safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
- Be reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Take pride in maintaining machinery and equipment in good working order.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to support various site operations as required.
