Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Troubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment andworktoolsOperates equipment to diagnose problems andinspectsequipment for defects.Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasksrequiredon equipment coming throughshop Able to complete tasks with minimal direction.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Performs repairs on all types of equipment and work tools.

  • Operates equipment to diagnose problems andinspectsequipment for defects.

  • Assistssupervisors, co-workers with a variety ofmechanic, and relatedtasksas necessary.

  • Highlyaware of safety precautions, policies,and procedures andisable toassistmanagement inmaintaininga safe work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Mechanical and fabrication knowledgeusuallyobtained through a 2 yr. post-secondary degree or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience.  

  • One to threeyears of knowledge of maintenance procedures and tooling obtained throughpreviouswork experience inmechanicand light welding.

WHAT SETSYOU APART

$26.41 - $36.32 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
