Heavy Equipment & Load Out Lead

Pay: $30-$36/hour

Schedule: 4 On / 4 Off

Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Are you an experienced operator ready to step into a leadership role? Didion is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Load Out Lead to provide hands-on leadership while working alongside the team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

This is a working lead position responsible for coordinating rail yard, truck loading, bulk loadout, and heavy equipment activities while supporting team development, troubleshooting operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture
  • Coordinate daily loadout, rail yard, and heavy equipment operations
  • Train, coach, and support operators
  • Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues
  • Conduct railcar and trailer inspections
  • Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability
  • Support quality, food safety, and customer expectations
  • Communicate priorities and keep operations running smoothly throughout the shift

What We're Looking For

  • Previous leadership or lead operator experience
  • Experience coaching or training others
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively across departments
  • Basic computer skills
