Job Description

NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. Through mergers and acquisitions, NED, LLC. has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships, including Four Seasons Equipment, MAY-RHI, Earthmovers Construction Equipment, Richardson Service 1991, Inc., Grove River Machinery, and L & N Supply Company Inc. Today the company is re-branded under one unified name, NED – National Equipment Dealers.

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Pay: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00/annually

Qualifications

  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, autonomous, and capable of driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Safety-First Leadership: Demonstrates strong leadership skills by actively promoting and adhering to safe working practices in all environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in equipment maintenance, field service, or an aftermarket support environment.
  • Dispatching Knowledge: Solid understanding of dispatch workflows, scheduling logistics, and service communication and coordination.
  • Basic IT Skills: Foundations in IT troubleshooting, device connectivity, and software systems. Ability to collaborate effectively with specialized IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues within the Aftermarket solutions systems.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Aftermarket Support Center Specialist plays a critical role in launching and optimizing our service technologies, starting with the complete setup and deployment of HD Connect. This role focuses on installing and managing monitoring stations, providing technical and IT support for displays and systems, and building seamless communication lines with Service Managers (SMs). As a self-starter who prioritizes safety, you will collaborate with manufacturer campaign teams to ensure 100% completion of campaigns before expiration, manage Preventative Maintenance (PM) contracts, and build lasting, trusting relationships with internal and external partners.

Initial Core Responsibilities (Phase 1: HD Connect Setup)

  • HD Connect Deployment: Lead the initial setup, configuration, and implementation of the HD Connect system.
  • Monitoring Station Installation: Install and manage hardware and software for specialized monitoring stations, ensuring optimal uptime.
  • Display & IT Support: Provide hands-on technical and IT support specifically for system displays, troubleshooting hardware/software connectivity issues as they arise.
  • Technical Training: Immerse yourself in comprehensive training with company and individual direction to become the subject matter expert (SME) on HD Connect capabilities.

Ongoing Roles & Responsibilities

  • Service Manager (SM) Communication: Establish and maintain consistent, clear, and proactive communication channels with Service Managers. Build strong, trusting partnerships to streamline operations.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborate closely with manufacturer campaign teams to design and execute a robust reporting system. Track progress to ensure all manufacturer campaigns are completed at or well before their expiration dates.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) Oversight: Monitor both contract and non-contract PMs. Deliver consistent monthly updates to SMs to facilitate efficient scheduling, tracking, and job completion.
  • Operational Alignment: Work closely with the core IT team to support daily operations, ensure data security, and maintain network stability for support tools.
