HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Follow all applicable safety precautions.
Ensure that all kitchen trash is removed from the area and disposed of properly.
Is always appropriately groomed and wears the uniform provided.
Notifies department management of needed repair work in the kitchen area.
Completes all general cleaning functions requiring ladder access.
Maintains their assigned kitchen area in accordance with county health department and hotel standards.
Ensure that food service supplies are properly maintained in accordance with county health department and hotel standards.
Take garbage, trash, and recyclables from kitchen areas to disposal sites.
Clean kitchen loading/receiving dock with power wash, daily.
Complete power washing of equipment outdoors.
Complete sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors.
Assist other stewarding employees in their duties regarding kitchen maintenance as time permits.
Obtain kitchen maintenance supplies needed from storage.
Assist in the organization of kitchen maintenance supply storage areas.
Additional related duties as requested by department management.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift approximately 30 - 35 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to perform reaching, stooping, stretching, crouching, and twisting motions repeatedly.
Ability to push approximately 300 - 350 pounds.
Visual capabilities needed to inspect their own work upon completion.
Ability to climb up and work from ladders.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Back of house restaurant experience preferred.
Must have neat and clean appearance.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Non-Gaming License.
