Major Job Functions:
Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment
Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team
Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
Dual Tickets will be an asset
Field truck experience - two years minimum
Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract
Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset
Willingness to participate and complete additional training
Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Important Details:
A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
