Location: Fort St John
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Permanent/Fulltime

  • In this role, you’ll put your skills into action by partnering directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak performance. You’ll troubleshoot and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar equipment — both in the shop and out in the field—leveraging your technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.

Qualifications:

  • Heavy Duty Mechanic certification

  • Previous Caterpillar and general line equipment repair experience

  • Experience working out of a service truck

  • Completion, or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses

  • Computer literacy along with an understanding of Finning systems and software programs would be considered assets

Note:

  • Must be able and willing to travel to and from customer sites across our territory

  • Tooled company truck supplied, hotel & per diem or camp (when applicable)

  • A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable 

  • Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
