PermanentOur Regina Components team is looking for a qualified technician (heavy equipment, agriculture, truck and transport, automotive or apprentice) to clean, rebuild and inspect components. If this sounds like you, Apply Today!

• Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
- Additional Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50
• Bonus Target: 4%

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment

  • Component rebuild

  • Condition reporting

  • Verifying components due to CAT reusability guidelines

  • Clean and inspection of components

  • Operation bench testing pieces

  • Operation of engine dynos

  • Interface with customers, product, and sales support

  • Working with supervisors on various tasks

  • Equipment and facility continuous improvements

  • Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

  • Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Automotive, Truck and Transport or Agriculture certification may be considered)

  • Apprentices will be considered based on experience

  • Dedication to safety

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset

  • Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset

  • Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset

  • Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

  • Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets

Important Details:

  • This position is located at our Regina branch on a 7x7 continuous shift

  • This position is for the components team

  • A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
