Knight Transportation is Hiring!We need a Heavy Duty Body and Paint Repair Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Experience with diesel equipment preferred but not required. If you are hardworking and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Location: 5601 W Buckeye Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85043Pay: $21 - $29Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

1+ Years of Body Repair Experience or comparable education
Valid Drivers License
Comprehensive background check
Pre-Employment Hair Drug Screen (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Additional Qualifications:

High School or equivalent
Experience in fiberglass repair, paint/paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA Regulations
Experience with on-the-job training
Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
Possess customer service & computer skills
Ability to read & understand repair manuals
Ability to multitask & work as a team
Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required

Mechanic Responsibilities:

Perform bodywork repair with minimum supervision
Perform troubleshooting on minor problems
Ensure proper care of company tools/equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Maintain a positive & proactive work environment
