We are seeking skilled and experienced heavy diesel mechanics or general fitters to join our team at JMH Group in Geraldton, Western Australia. The successful candidates will be experienced heavy commercial vehicle mechanics and will be responsible for performing a variety of trade-related tasks, including vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
We are offering full-time and casual positions with regular or flexible working hours.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a qualified tradesperson
- Strong technical skills in your specific trade
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs according to job specifications
- Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately
- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Keeping accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- Certification or qualification as a tradesperson in a relevant mechanical field (e.g. Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, Auto Electrician)
- Will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and a national police clearance
- Must be a Geraldton resident or must be prepared to relocate for the role
- Must have Australian Work Rights
