We’re looking for skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Technicians, or Fitters to join our team at Brisbane Airport. This hybrid role gives you the best of both worlds: workshop maintenance and field service. From repairing heavy plant and trucks in the workshop to tackling breakdowns on site - no two days are the same.

Service, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery and trucks
Diagnose and repair breakdowns on site
Deliver work to Downer’s high safety and quality standards
Work both independently and as part of a skilled team
Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
Strong hydraulic knowledge and diagnostic skills
Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
Auto electrical experience highly regarded
HR and Forklift licences desirable
