When a customer’s heat goes down, especially in winter, it’s more than an inconvenience, it’s urgent. As a Heating Oil Service Technician, you are the person customers rely on to restore comfort, safety, and peace of mind. Your expertise directly protects homes and businesses and reinforces Hocon Gas's reputation for dependable, preventative service done right the first time.
Within your first three months, you are independently diagnosing and servicing oil-fired heating systems, completing clean, accurate service documentation, and responding professionally to both routine and emergency calls. You understand local codes and safety standards, manage your time effectively across service calls, and know when to troubleshoot independently versus escalating complex issues.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training and experience.
Pay Rate:
$34-$38 per hour (depending on experience)
