What you’ll do:

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Responsible for scheduling the shop floor and managing the shop floor to meet organizational goals. The position is also responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and for continuously improving the work systems through ELS and problem solving:

Develop shop floor schedules to meet customer demand and plant goals. Key considerations include meeting customer on time delivery, maximizing efficiency and minimizing scrap.
Hands on experience of All Heat Treat Equipment (SQF, Carburizing process for Gear manufacturing).Hands on experience of Metallurgy inspection. Troubleshooting of HT processes.
Basic gear machining knowledge
Willing to work in shifts.
Shift manpower planning to meet organizational goals.
Promote and sustain ELS disciplines and improvements. Ensure that standardized practices are followed where applicable. Knowledge of Quality management systems.
Evaluate shop floor training needs (including cross training) and provide as needed.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe work environment.
Monitor performance of production personnel and identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
Provide strong leadership to develop a participative and continuous improvement culture in the organization.
Ensure that all regulatory standards and company policies are understood, supported and followed on the shop floor.
Support implementation of key certification requirements – EBEA, ISO14001, EQS, IATF, MESH
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Engineering Graduate Level (B.E. /DME /)Metallurgy of (10+2+4)
Preferably 3-6 years Heat Treatment production experience

Skills:

Understand basic ELS tools such as setup reduction and 5S.
Supervisor/Leadership skills
Analytical problem solving skills
ERP
