Are you a AGACNP - Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, currently in the State of Texas or licensed / compact in Texas seeking a new role? We are seeking multiple night shift NP's with two (2) years clinical nursing experience (RN or NP) in area of Cardiology / Cardiac Care / Cardiovascular Nursing. It would be great if you have: Experience w/heart failure population or Acute Care NP experience, or Cardiovascular & Heart Failure ICU RN experience.

Heart Failure ICU Nurse Practitioner - FT Nights

*Rotating weekends & holidays; No call

*12 hour shifts: 7p-7a (paid for 40 hours)

*AGACNP required

*2-3 years of RN or NP Critical Care experience required, Cardiology experience strongly preferred

*New NPs MUST have 2-3 years of RN experience with Critical Care ICU, Cardiac Care, fresh transplants &/or CV Recovery including working w/LVADs & ECMO

*Experience w/heart failure population

*Patient populations include VV/VA ECMO, Mechanical Circulatory Support, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, LVAD, Post-op Cardiac Surgery

*8% geographical differential for the medical center

*2-3 month credentialing process

Position responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow up, affecting direct patient care through the disease process.
