Job Description

We are seeking a fixed-term (~3 month contract) Hearing Care Professional to join our Richmond, BC HearCANADA clinic. This position is open to both licensed Hearing Instrument Practitioners and Audiologists. This position is a leave-coverage position with potential for extension or potential to be considered for other roles within the organization based on active openings.

What we offer you:

  • $41.00 - $61.00 hourly based on credentials and experience + an attractive incentive program

  • Attractive working hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday - we are open to considering candidates with part-time or full-time availability

  • Opportunity to work at a new, fast-growing clinic

  • Stipend for completion of the 3-month contract role

What you will do:

  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations

  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients

  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended

  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls

What we are looking for:

  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program

  • Unrestricted ability to practice + registration in good standing with HIPSBC / CHCPBC

  • Clear communication skills in the English language, fluency in other languages would be a definite asset (Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred)
