Job Description

The Recruiter partners with Clinical and Corporate Leaders across an assigned Market, Region, or Division to attract, assess, and hire high-quality clinical talent. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor, developing proactive sourcing strategies, conducting in-person and virtual interviews, building strong relationships with leaders, and representing U.S. Renal Care within the communities we serve through clinic visits, career fairs, and other recruitment events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

OPERATIONAL READINESS

FIELD RECRUITMENT & MARKET ENGAGEMENT

  • Develop strong partnerships with clinical leaders, hiring managers, and operational teams to understand workforce needs, market dynamics, and business priorities.
  • Lead intake consultations with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, establish candidate profiles, and align expectations throughout the hiring process.
  • Source, screen, conduct virtual and in-person interviews, and present qualified candidates for assigned clinical positions while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Learn the specialty areas that require ongoing support and pipeline candidates for future needs.
  • Partner with sourcers on hard-to-fill roles and ensure you communicate regularly.
  • Analyze local labor market conditions, competitor hiring activity, compensation trends, and candidate availability to advise hiring managers and inform recruiting strategies.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn, Indeed, industry associations, community partnerships, networking events, and other sourcing channels.
  • Prepare offers and work with HRBP team to ensure offers are in line with salary bands / internal equity.
  • Manage the requisition process- understanding who is accountable for specific steps and actions in the process, following SLAs set by TA leadership, and keeping your candidates informed on where they are in the process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview logistics, ensuring timely communication, candidate preparation, interviewer readiness, and completion of interview feedback.
  • Bring the USRC Core Values into the overall TA process in the areas of Excellence, Partnership, Inclusion, Innovation & Compassion
  • Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill clinical positions.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Participate in recruiting projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruiting effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and applicable hiring procedures.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing and Early Careers teams to support targeted hiring campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
  • Travel up to 25–40% within the assigned market to support clinic visits, in-person interviews, hiring events, career fairs, workforce planning meetings, and other business needs.
  • Conduct onsite hiring activities, including in-person interviews, hiring events, and recruiting days at dialysis clinics and regional offices.
  • Represent U.S. Renal Care at career fairs, nursing school events, community outreach programs, and other recruiting events to build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Partner with clinic leadership to identify proactive recruitment opportunities and strengthen the local candidate experience.
  • Maintain visibility within assigned markets to enhance employer brand awareness and support long-term recruiting success

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include:
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting with a successful track record of filling both exempt and non-exempt positions. Prior experience in healthcare recruiting a
  • Experience in ATS preferably in ADP Recruiting
  • Basic sourcing skills not limited to market research, Boolean search, candidate engagement, social media, LinkedIn and Indeed search.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.
