Job Description

Linde Canada Inc.

Healthcare Professional - Sleep (full time)

Calgary, AB, Canada | req32487

The Healthcare Professional is responsible for initiation of prescribed respiratory therapy in the office, or the client home including assessment, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance. Promotion of products and services to referral sources, including educational in-services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you’d work closely with sleep therapy clients, helping them get started on PAP therapy and ensuring they’re comfortable, compliant, and seeing positive results from their treatment
  • Most of your time would be spent meeting with clients in the clinic, conducting assessments, providing education, answering questions, and following up on their progress
  • There’s also an in-home component, where you’d visit clients as needed to provide support, assess equipment use, and ensure therapy is working effectively
  • You’d be responsible for documenting assessments, tracking outcomes, and monitoring equipment performance to support quality patient care
  • Relationship building is a big part of the role, both with clients and with referral sources who trust us to provide excellent service
  • You’d help promote our products and services by educating referral partners and maintaining strong professional relationships within the community
  • Safety and compliance are important, so you’d ensure all activities are carried out according to company policies and safety standards
  • As you grow in the role, you may also have opportunities to support the onboarding, training, and development of new team members as needed

What makes you great*

  • We’re looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse with an active professional license
  • Experience with CPAP therapy is a strong asset, and ideally you’ve worked with sleep therapy patients before
  • Previous experience in homecare or a client-facing healthcare environment would be beneficial, and any sales or relationship-building experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with patients and referral sources every day
  • You’ll need to be organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The role suits someone who can work well under pressure, respond with urgency when needed, and stay focused on delivering excellent patient care
  • Maintaining patient safety and confidentiality is critical, so we’re looking for someone who takes those responsibilities seriously
  • Since there are occasional home visits, you’ll need a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
