What You'll Be Doing

• Advance Reduced Order Models (ROM) capabilities for aortic valve simulation by analyzing patient CT data (pre-operative, perioperative, and post-operative) using our BetterValves solution to compare simulations with clinical reality
• Develop and optimize ROM solutions from BetterValves simulations, working with input parameters such as catheter position and material, and post-processing output results to analyze convergence and accuracy
• Design, implement, test, and document novel methods for ROM capabilities, leveraging your expertise in Python programming to create innovative solutions for transcatheter aortic valve replacement planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional expert teams to integrate ROM solutions into our BetterValves product, ensuring alignment with strategic development goals and advancing simulation tool capabilities
• Conduct comprehensive testing and provide technical support, including bug verification, release testing, and beta support to ensure quality and reliability, while staying current with emerging technologies to drive innovation

What You'll Need

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Proficiency in Python development and numerical methods, with a strong understanding of programming principles and software design patterns
• Adaptability to emerging technologies and a willingness to innovate in the medical simulation space
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively under supervision of a development manager towards shared goals
