Our IT team is expanding, and we’re seeking a Healthcare Digital Adoption Platform Clinical Applications Training Lead. This role will guide the development, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-wide training programs that support Clinical Applications and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) across national operations and partner practices.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Athena, athenaOne EHR, and Apty or a comparable digital adoption platform.

Panoramic Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Clinical Applications Training Lead to oversee the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of enterprise training programs supporting Clinical Applications and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions across national operations and partner practices. This role will oversee a team responsible for clinical application training, end-user support, workflow optimization, and digital learning initiatives, while ensuring consistent, scalable, and competency-based learning experiences for both new and existing employees.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Clinical Applications, the Training Lead will partner closely with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and business leaders to rebuild and manage the end-to-end training strategy across both Clinical Applications and RCM workflows. This includes developing unified training curricula, role-specific learning pathways, virtual and digital training programs, and scalable educational resources that support operational excellence and user proficiency.
The role will serve as the internal business owner and administrator for the organization’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP), leading the configuration and optimization of in-application guidance, digital walkthroughs, workflow support tools, and adoption analytics across clinical systems. Additionally, the Training Lead will drive continuous improvement initiatives through training effectiveness measurement, workflow gap analysis, competency validation, and implementation of train-the-trainer programs to support long-term organizational scalability.
Responsibilities
• Develop, standardize, and maintain digital training modules, in-application guidance workflows, and resource materials for scalable, virtual training programs.
• Ensure training content aligns with instructional design best practices and is optimized for diverse adult learning styles. · Oversee delivery of onboarding and ongoing education initiatives for end users of varying technical proficiency levels. · Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and support Clinical Applications Specialists, ensuring high performance,
• professional development, and consistent service delivery.
• Oversee daily operations for clinical application support and training; monitor
• workload distribution, service levels, and key performance indicators.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex end user support issues involving clinical
• applications, including the EHR.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and operational partners to analyze, refine, and
• optimize clinical and non-clinical workflows.
• Analyze and identify trends in end user tickets to identify areas for training and
• workflow optimization across supported applications.
• Participate in testing, evaluation, and rollout of new software releases; ensure teams
• are prepared with updated educational materials.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical informatics, instructional design, nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of recent experience in a clinical application, EHR, or health care IT training role
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, including virtual or digital training modules.
• Hands-on experience with athenaOne EHR, including configuration and training strongly preferred
• Experience with adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and learning management systems (LMS)
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Time management and prioritization necessary daily
• Proficient verbal and written communication is essential

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-driven, and complex healthcare setting.
