The role

As Healthcare Customer Segment Marketing Business Partner here at Illumina, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies for healthcare customers across the MED and Central subregions in Europewith a focus onItaly, Spain,Switzerlandand Austria

This highly visible individual contributor role partners closely with sales, product marketing, and global teams to deliver impactful initiatives that drive growth in genomic sequencing adoption within healthcare markets. You will collaborate with key opinion leaders, manage complex projects, and ensure alignment across a matrixed organization to achieve strategicobjectives

Why you

You are a dynamic marketing professional with a strong background in healthcare marketing and a passion for combining creativity with analytics to deliver measurable impact. You bring:

  • Abachelor's degree in marketing, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field

  • Extensive experience in marketing, with a proventrack recordin healthcare marketing

  • Expertisein portfolio marketing, go-to-market strategy, and multi-channel campaign execution

  • Strong understanding of genomic sequencing and its role in healthcare

  • Ability to influence without authority in a highly matrixed environment

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing budgets and timelines

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% across MED and Central Europe

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Segment Strategy

  • Develop multi-channel marketing plans for healthcare customers based on market trends and competitor insights

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to drive portfolio strategy and define engagement approaches using networks such as LinkedIn and ResearchGate

Strategy Implementation

  • Partner with commercial teams to build tactical plans aligned with growth objectives

  • Manage execution of impactful in-person events and digital experiences

  • Create customer-focused content and work with omnichannel teams foroptimaldeployment

Budget & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI

  • Track leads, analyze campaign performance, and report on KPIs to ensure continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with sales, product, regional marketing, Medical Affairs, and Strategic Growth teams on launches and initiatives

  • Support development of sales enablement tools and customer-facing materials

Market Insights & Training

  • Conduct market research and share actionable insights

  • Provide regular training and updates to sales teams on trends and strategies
