THE JOB: Health Technology Coach
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $70,856 - $88,570
Reporting to the Manager, Health Technology Service Delivery the Health Technology (HT) Coach supportsimprovements in primary care in the family practice setting while developing quality improvement capacity across practice teams through a tailored practice facilitation approach. The HT Coach is focused on optimizing health technology platforms and workflows (e.g. EMRs, virtual care, clinical decision support tools, etc.) in practice to enable doctors to adopt the attributes of the Patient Medical Home and sustain practice improvements.
The HT Coach is part of a larger support team (including Practice Improvement Coaches, Panel Management Coaches, Team Based Care Coaches, peer mentors and program staff) that provides high quality practice support services. Additionally, the HT Coach works closely with key partners (e.g. Divisions of Family Practice, health authorities, Ministry of Health, etc.) in the community to deliver practice support services in alignment with FPSC direction and practice and community needs to realize the attributes of the Patient Medical Home and Primary Care Networks.

We are governed by physician members who are elected annually to the Board of Directors. Our President serves as primary spokesperson. In addition, Doctors of BC members contribute to over 60 committees that advocate for issues of importance to physicians, and to the citizens of BC.
