Reporting to the Health Services Director, the Health Services Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care and Ophthalmology Clinic.
Working collaboratively and consultatively with patients/clients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners, and service providers, the Manager applies strategic and analytical thinking to address challenges to achieve the ultimate goal of high quality, safe and cost effective services to better support patient experience/outcome.
The Manager exhibits sound professional judgment and initiative while working within the framework and objectives of the Health Services Program and the Mission and Vision and Strategic Directions of Nova Scotia Health, and incorporates into daily practice the Core Competencies and Values of Nova Scotia Health. This position is based at Cape Breton Regional Hospital; travel to NSGH, NW and GBH will be required.

$47.49 - $63.09 Hourly
