Rotorua Lakes Council is seeking a proactive and people-focused Health, Safety & Wellbeing Officer to join our People & Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term parental leave cover contract.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong initiative and a willingness to get involved wherever needed. While experience in a health and safety, or compliance role would be beneficial, we're more interested in finding a practical, people-focused individual who is keen to learn, build relationships and contribute across a wide range of activities. This fixed-term role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, and takes pride in providing great support to others.

Guided by our values framework, Tai Kawenga, we are committed to being customer focused, community driven and people at the heart. We believe that every role contributes to the positive outcomes we achieve for our community and that our greatest asset is our people.

If you're ready to make a positive impact and join us for this 6-month parental leave cover opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Rotorua Lakes Council and help us create a safer, healthier and stronger workplace for everyone.
