Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the company Health & Safety Management System
  • Review existing risk assessments and measures and update according to legislation
  • Assist with risk assessments
  • Assist with COSHH Assessments
  • Assist with System Audits
  • Process paperwork of all contractors
  • Recording Work Authorisations
  • Assist with tracking corrective actions
  • Record and report issues or non-conformities
  • Report any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Assist with the recording and investigation of accident and incidents and preparing safety
  • Assist with the tracking and collection of workplace H&S observations
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
  • Track corrective actions and send reminders for updates on status of actions to assigned owners.
  • Record Actions requests for Health & Safety Department

Requirements

  • Ability to learn and interpret necessary legislation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to plan workloads
  • Capable of writing reports and information for staff to read
  • Ability to organize
  • Diligent with attention to detail
