  • Partner with equipment owners on mechanical integrity (MI), including inspection and test programs, deficiency resolution, and documentation for safety-critical equipment.
  • Support RMP hazard assessment, consequence modeling, applicability evaluations, program updates, and regulatory submissions using qualified methods and appropriate technical resources.
  • Lead process safety incident and near miss investigations; identify technical and systemic root causes, assign corrective actions, and verify effectiveness
  • Develop and communicate leading and lagging process safety indicators, trends, and priorities to site leadership.
  • Collaborate with emergency response and operations teams on covered process emergency planning, drills, contractor interfaces, and relevant training.
  • Share lessons learned and provide PSM/RMP technical consultation to other TI campuses when feasible, while prioritizing assigned campus obligations.

Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in PSM, industrial safety, engineering, or high-hazard manufacturing operations, including direct involvement with PSM program elements.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and applicable EPA Risk Management Program (40 CFR Part 68) requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience covering multiple sites or covered processes within a complex manufacturing campus
  • Experience in semiconductor, specialty gas, chemical, petrochemical, or other high-hazard manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with high-hazard chemical storage and distribution, process safeguards, P&ID, PSSR, MI. and consequence modeling
  • Professional credentials such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, or CCPSC (Certified Process Safety Professional)
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate technical risk clearly, prioritize competing needs, and deliver required actions on schedule.
