We
are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Specialist to
join our team in Campia Turzii Plant, within the Adhesives Division. In
this role, you will ensure a safe and compliant working environment,
implementing and continuously improving health, safety, and environmental
standards across the site.
You
will play a key role in protecting people, equipment, and the environment while
supporting operational excellence and compliance with legal and corporate
requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and monitor all occupational health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental protection activities at the Pantelimon Plant
- Ensure safe use of equipment and compliance with internal and legal safety standards
- Conduct onboarding, on-site, and periodic safety trainings for employees
- Perform regular workplace inspections and risk assessments across all areas
- Develop and update safety instructions, procedures, and emergency plans (prevention, intervention, evacuation)
- Monitor environmental factors and occupational risks in collaboration with authorized laboratories
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal standards
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and propose corrective actions
- Track implementation of corrective measures following inspections or audits
- Maintain records related to safety, environmental protection, equipment, and authorizations (including ISCIR-related activities)
- Collaborate with all departments, Site Manager, medical services, and external authorities when needed
- Manage PPE requirements, usage, maintenance, and replacement
- Support continuous improvement of HSE systems and contribute to audits and certifications
What makes you a
good fit:
- Technical university degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety and environmental regulations
- Relevant certifications in SSM/health & safety (including risk assessment, fire safety, and technical responsibilities)
- Very good command of English (written, spoken, reading)
- Good PC skills (MS Office, email)
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment and technical processes
- Analytical thinking and ability to manage risks effectively
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset
