More about the role
We are looking for an Environment, Health & Safety and Operational Security Specialist, who will be responsible for ensuring the facility's compliance with applicable legal requirements and Signify standards in the areas of environmental protection, occupational health and safety (EHS), and physical security.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and continuously developing the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) program and the Operational Security policy in line with Signify's strategy and standards.
- Ensuring the facility's compliance with applicable legal regulations and corporate requirements related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and physical security.
- Developing and implementing procedures and standards related to physical security and infrastructure protection.
- Coordinating projects aimed at improving safety and implementing new technical and organizational solutions.
- Cooperating with regional and global EHS and Security teams to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinating cooperation with external contractors, consultants, and service providers in the areas of environmental protection, health and safety, and physical security.
- Supporting investment projects, environmental assessments, and initiatives related to the development of the facility's infrastructure.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and initiating actions to further improve safety and organizational compliance.
Requirements
- Certified qualifications required to perform the duties of at least a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Inspector under Polish regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and physical security regulations.
- Experience in project management and working with external service providers.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience in risk assessment, auditing, accident investigations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to develop and implement safety procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of regulations related to workplace physical security.
- Polish citizenship.
- Clean criminal record.
