Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures at project sites.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and environmental inspections to ensure compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-To-Work (PTW) documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor subcontractors' compliance with WSH and environmental requirements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, building management, and authorities regarding safety and environmental matters.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site inductions for workers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and National Environment Agency (NEA) regulations.
- Prepare safety and environmental reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Support project teams in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant construction safety experience.
- Experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A), renovation, fit-out, interior fit-out, upgrading, or maintenance projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with Permit-To-Work systems, work-at-height, hot work, lifting operations, and confined space requirements.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
