About the role.
We’re currently looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role champions a strong safety, health and environmental culture across our manufacturing sites. If you’re passionate about building safer workplaces, driving continuous improvement, and supporting people to thrive, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our sites maintain a strong commitment to continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental culture, standards, systems and processes.

Working closely with site leadership, you’ll design, implement and monitor improvement plans that keep our people safe and our operations compliant and efficient.

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Lead Safety Excellence

  • Drive a proactive safety culture by engaging leaders, team members and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Kinrise HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee risk and hazard management, including assessments, investigations, corrective actions and audits.

Champion Health & Injury Management

  • Oversee occupational health, wellness and hygiene programs.
  • Manage end‑to‑end workers’ compensation claims and early intervention processes.
  • Act as the key liaison between injured workers, treatment providers, insurers and internal stakeholders.

Environmental Stewardship

  • Manage site environmental compliance, including EPA licences and trade waste requirements.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Lead local HSE improvement programs, including Never Walk By initiatives.
  • Enhance return‑to‑work outcomes and support OES maturity across HSE modules.

Be a Key Functional Area Specialist in Safety

  • Contribute to decision‑making on key operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.
  • Ensure confidentiality and protect sensitive business information.

About You.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical problem‑solving ability and confidence managing risk and complexity.
  • Results‑driven mindset with the ability to set and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and alignment with Kinrise values.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing safety programs in FMCG manufacturing.
  • Significant experience in workplace rehabilitation and return‑to‑work injury management
