We’re looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our growing Melbourne team, supporting operations across Australia. This role is hands-on, business-facing, and critical to ensuring we continue to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality projects.

The role
Reporting to the Head of Operations APAC, you’ll play a key role in embedding WHS and quality frameworks across our Australian operations, supporting both employees and subcontractors.
This is a high-visibility role where you’ll be equally comfortable on-site, in front of stakeholders, and working strategically on systems and improvements.
What you’ll be doing
Provide WHS advice and guidance aligned with Australian legislation (WHS Act & Regulations)
Experience with Rapid Global or other similar safety management systems is a great advatage
Partner with managers and site teams to build a proactive safety culture
Conduct site visits, audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Lead incident investigations and ensure timely, practical corrective actions
Maintain and improve registers (risk, hazardous substances, plant & equipment)
Support development and delivery of training and onboarding programs
Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation plans
Ensure reporting of incidents in line with regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Support internal audits, documentation control, and quality processes
What you bring
Demonstrated experience in a WHS / HSEQ Advisor role in construction, engineering, logistics or similar
Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Experience with incident investigation, audits, and risk management
Confidence influencing stakeholders across site teams and leadership levels
Ability to translate policy into practical, workable solutions
Experience with ISO 9001 (or similar quality systems) is highly desirable
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
Diploma or higher (advantageous)
