Within this framework, we are looking for a hands-on “ Health & Safety Engineer” to make a meaningful impact on our organization’s safety culture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Workplace Safety Monitoring and Incident Prevention

• Inspect workplace and report any failure of Health & Safety measures
• Investigate the causes of occupational accidents and propose preventative and risk management measures
• Indicate and supervise the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Health & Safety Trainings

• Participate in the preparation and implementation of employee training programs on occupational Health & Safety issues
• Supervise the execution of fire safety and alarm drills

Regulatory Compliance and Contractor Supervision

• Regularly update and monitor Health & Safety legislation
• Prepare occupational risk studies and Health & Safety plans for technical projects
• Comment on the Health and Safety sections of draft project contracts
• Oversee and ensure subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety regulations on technical projects (on site)

Requirements

• University or Technical Institute graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Technology Engineering
• Very good knowledge of English and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience as a Safety Engineer
• Knowledge of National and European Health and Safety Legislation
• Knowledge of the ISO 45001 standard
• Knowledge of Photo / Video Editing or other media creation software (e.g. Unity)
• Hands-On and Problem-solving Skills
• Enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and skills
