The Health and Safety Coordinator supports the QES team in maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements across assigned sites. The role assists with administrative tasks, inspections, record-keeping, and coordination of Health and Safety activities. This position is designed for individuals developing their knowledge and experience under the guidance of senior team members.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with Quality, Environment and Safety policies and procedures updates
• Support compliance with documentation and record-keeping
Participate in inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Assist with JHSC coordination and meeting minutes
• Follows all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Reports hazards, accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly
• Supports a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
• Assists in identifying opportunities for improvement
• Follows quality procedures and work instructions
• Assists with documentation and recordkeeping requirements
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives cations
• Maintains a continuous improvement everyday mindset
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent education with post graduate certificate in health and safety or environmental management
• 1 year of experience in a related health, safety or environmental role
• Interest in CRSP designation
• Basic understanding of health, safety and environmental principles
• Basic communication skills for interacting with team members
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
