Reporting to the Health and Safety Operations Manager, you will provide support in relation to the management of health and safety risk, provide expertise in training and assessment, ensure fit for purpose systems and procedures are in place and embedded to provide optimal outcomes. You will also find new ways to embed contemporary health, safety and training practices and lead by example and take ownership of difficult issues.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Business Partner with outstanding communication, consultation and collaboration skills, supported by strong capabilities in leadership, change management, mentoring and delivering training. You will bring proven initiative, self‑direction, solid business acumen, and well‑honed analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Your expertise will enable you to develop effective strategies and practices that minimise Health and Safety risks across the organisation.
This is a full-time opportunity, available for an immediate start, based in our Pioneer Bowen Basin Region, at either Mackay (Walkerston Office), Moranbah or Collinsville. This role offers an attractive base salary starting from $145,346, plus 12.75% superannuation and 17% leave loading. Note – due to the nature of this role, regular travel will be required.
