Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and continuously improving Health, Safety, and Sustainability (HS&S) programs across the organization. You will ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and international standards while driving a strong safety culture, environmental responsibility, and sustainable operational practices. You will need to deliver effective risk management, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and organizational objectives. Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability programs across site operations.

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, corporate requirements, and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management systems.

  • Driving hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, corrective actions, and prevention initiatives.

  • Supporting emergency preparedness and response plans while promoting a proactive safety culture.

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting HS&S performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborating with leaders, employees, and contractors to strengthen engagement and accountability for safety and sustainability objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Occupational Health, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent technical background.

  • Experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (HSE&S) within manufacturing or industrial environments.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, incident prevention, emergency response, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and auditing processes.

  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HSE data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
