We have the opportunity for you to join the Corporate Sustainability Team as a Health & Safety and Environmental Specialist to support the implementation of Greenvolt's Integrated Management System as well as HSE projects.
The HSE Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
• Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Health & Safety and Environmental Management System and GV Corporate standards, while guaranteeing coordination with local environmental teams from different companies, and other interested parties or internal areas whenever necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact for HSE activities and support the implementation of HSE Management Systems across multiple business units.
• Ensure the compliance with the applicable legal requirements and other voluntary requirements, corrective and preventive programs and International Audit Plans.
• Engage with external regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote best practices.
• Ensure the execution of visits/audits to the Business Units’ operational sites.
• Support the different health and safety activities and projects to ensure continuous improvement across different business units (training, work incidents, managing non-conformities, audits, HSE metrics, etc.).
Requirements
•Experience in the energy sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy;
•Previous experience in Health and Safety & area in a corporate and multi-site and international environment (mandatory);
• Minimum 3 years of experience in integrated management systems (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), either within a company’s own management system or as a consultant;
•Professional training in Health and Safety minimum level VI (preferred);
•Able to inspire, support and oversight the international teams;
•Good organizational and interpersonal skills;
•Proactive and resilient to cope with difficult situations;
•Driving license and availability to national and international travel;
•Good communication skills in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferred).
