Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Service Business in Jüri.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leads HSE risk assessments and ensures effective implementation of HSE processes
  • Monitors and reports HSE performance, incidents and sustainability KPIs
  • Ensures compliance with ABB standards and local HSE regulations
  • Drives continuous improvement and a strong health, safety and environmental culture
  • Ensures HSE training, equipment and management system requirements are met
  • Plans and executes HSE projects, managing objectives, resources and reporting


Qualifications for the role

  • You are currently studying Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) or similar
  • You demonstrate a strong motivation to make a positive impact on workplace health, safety, and environmental performance, with personal learning goals aligned to continuous HSE improvement
  • You have an interest in or initial exposure to environmental sustainability initiatives and are eager to contribute to practical improvement actions
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a structured, systematic approach to tasks and problem-solving
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are able to communicate effectively in Estonian and English, Russian is beneficial
