
Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Walsall, West Midlands (with UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll support the business in maintaining and promoting safe working practices across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role that involves regular travel, with your time split between the Walsall office and various UK project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards
Support the delivery of toolbox talks and on-site safety briefings
Assist in reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures
Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to embed a positive safety culture
Help investigate incidents and near misses, contributing to continuous improvement
Provide day-to-day support and guidance on health and safety matters
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role (construction experience desirable but not essential)
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
Good understanding of UK health and safety legislation
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
Strong communication and organisational skills
The right to work in the UK
