The Ohio Department of Health is seeking a Health Planning Administrator 3 for the Bureau of HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis (BHSH) This position will manage all administrative aspects of the STI and Viral Hepatitis Client Services Prevention program and the statewide management of STI, HIV, and Hepatitis prevention planning.
What You'll Do:
The Health Planning Administrator 3 assists the Bureau Chief in the development and implementation of the unit budget by monitoring the federal Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) grant for HIV and STIs Additional duties include:
Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is an exempt hourly position, with a pay range of 15 on theE1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
5 yrs. exp. in planning and administering health programs, with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
OR
Completion of graduate core program in field of public health, health administration, preventive medicine, social work, nursing or other health-related field or public policy and management/public administration or business administration AND 2 yrs. exp. in planning and administering health programs, with education and experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file
OR
2 yrs. exp. as Health Planning Administrator 1, 65245, with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
OR
12 mos. exp. as Health Planning Administrator 2, 65246, with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 15, Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($43.09 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($45.51) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
