Your New Role and Responsibilities
Leidos Australia is looking for a Health Integration Engineer to join our team on a 9 month contract. The Health Integration Engineer designs, builds, and supports integration services that connect healthcare and enterprise systems. This role delivers robust interfaces and APIs using healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR) and integration patterns that ensure reliability, security, and operational supportability.
You will collaborate with delivery teams, client stakeholders, and vendors to implement and troubleshoot integrations across environments. The role includes contributing to interface specifications, building integration services using agreed patterns, and supporting deployments and operational activities. A key responsibility is the implementation of complex data transformation structures, including multi-step mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation to ensure data quality and interoperability across multiple systems.
