This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading not-for-profit health service offering a diverse and complex casemix across acute, rehabilitation and mental health services, while being supported by experienced leaders and industry-leading systems.

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder Grade 3 to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of clinical coding and health information management services across Cabrini. Working closely with clinicians and the wider Health Information Services team, you will contribute to high-quality data management, coding quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

What You’ll Be doing:

  • Accurately and efficiently coding inpatient episodes in accordance with Australian Coding Standards

  • Ensuring medical records are complete and compliant, including clinician liaison and documentation follow-up

  • Participating in coding quality audits, education and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Supporting data integrity across WebPAS and associated hospital systems

  • Assisting with complex coding queries and contributing to team knowledge sharing

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and highly experienced Health Information Services team

What We’re Looking For

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding

  • Extensive experience in a similar Health Information Management or Clinical Coding role

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Coding Standards and casemix funding principles

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

  • A proactive and collaborative approach with strong communication skills

  • Commitment to accuracy, continuous learning and quality improvement
