🍽️ We're Hiring: Hospital Food Services Assistants

Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Food Services Assistant, with opportunities available at the following hospitals:

Northern Melbourne:

The Northern – Epping, Broadmeadows Health Services – Broadmeadows and Bundoora Extended Care – Bundoora

Eastern Melbourne:

The Box Hill Hospital - Box Hill, Peter James Centre – Burwood, Wantirna Health – Wantirna and The Angliss Hospital - Upper Fern Tree Gully

Casual, Part-time and Full Time opportunities are available.

Food Service Assistant :

• Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
• Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
• Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
• This role works in various shifts across seven days - morning and afternoon shift
• Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

Minimum Criteria:

• Flexibility to work various shifts; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays (particularly for Casual opportunities).
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months is essential
• Victorian Working with Children Check (employment, not volunteer) is essential
• Food handing certificate

Additional Criteria for some sites:

• COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination (3 shots)
• Flu Vaccination
