Administrators are a valuable member of our health care team who work to act as the representative of the governing body of the nursing facility for internal management, and to be responsible for the efficient administration of all activities, subject to the policies, procedures and orders of the governing body in compliance with corporate policy and under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director of Operations.

About us: Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility located in Columbus, Indiana.  Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Administrator to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents. 

About the Role: Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Administrator to-
  • Be responsible for overall management and operations of the facility under direction of the Regional Director of Operations and in conformance with corporate policy.
  • Enforce rules and regulations related to health care and the safety of residents in order to protect their personal and property rights.
  • Serve as ongoing liaison between the governing body, medical and nursing staff and other professional staff of the facility.
  • Study and act upon recommendations made by the Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Designate department heads who will assume administrative functions as outlined in their respective job descriptions.
  • Insure the accurate and prompt submission of all required reports/documentation to the Regional Director of Operation and the Corporate office.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
  • Must be a licensed Administrator (HFA) as required by the State.
  • Must be well-versed in human relations and administrative management.
  • Should have patience and tact in dealing with anyone at the facility
  • Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel, and support agencies and ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
