Job Description: Health promotion for employees is instrumental when supporting a healthy workplace. This position will monitor and support the on-site fitness facilities ensuring a safe workout environment and will support and education employees in healthy lifestyles programming. This position will report to the manager of organizational learning and effectiveness and will work closely with the healthy workplace leadership team. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience

• Experience in fitness training & consultation.
• Experience working with older adults

Education

• Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation (BTR)

Other Education and Training

• Current CPR certification
• Bachelor of Physical Therapy is acceptable
• Master of Health Promotion is acceptable
• First Aid Certificate

• Knowledge in education and program development, implementation and evaluation
