The Senior Health Educator integrates knowledge and skill reflective of Assessor Coordinator and/or Social Worker care practices in an integrated clinical services model of care. This position will apply principles of adult learning in the provision of education, research and quality client centered care. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care through the application of professional standards and lean principles. In consultation with the director and managers, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs, planning, implementing and evaluating education activities/programs, either unit based or region wide. The Senior Health Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to individuals or groups as appropriate. The position will have specific responsibilities related to clinical knowledge, professional development and electronic systems (such as Procura, RAI-HC, SCM, EMR, etc). Home base 2180 23rd avenue Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
