
The Ambulatory Care Management (ACM) Health Educator assumes responsibility and accountability for conducting Department Orientation for new staff, ongoing education, skills and competencies for existing staff including but not limited to Annual Competencies and Skills. The Educator will report to the Clinical Manager, Education The Health Educator will develop curriculum, orientations, competencies, as well as audit tools approved by ACM LeadershipIn addition, The Health Educator assists in Quality Assessments and other Administrative Duties as assigned by ACM Leadership The Health Educator – a seasoned Comprehensive Care Coordinator, Community Health Worker or Clinical Social Worker - is responsible for assisting with clinical and/or administrative management, training and coordination within the scope of their practice across ACM. The Health Educator will oversee the development of trainers and/or preceptors within the department across a variety of roles as appropriate. The Health Educator will also provide support to the Clinical Manager in offering training to residents, physicians and other healthcare providers across UCLA Health.
Salary Range: $86,400 - $184,800 Annual
